We are seeking a PT Audio Visual Technician to work in the Magnificent Mile area of Chicago, IL.

Job summary

The AV Technician will work with the latest and cutting-edge technology on a daily basis. Our technicians are the front line of our hospitality operations. They set and strike simple things such as cabling all the way up to lighting rigs and LED walls. They are in constant communication with their team(s), clients, and venue partners to ensure a perfectly executed event at all times. Customer Service I the number one priority of our technicians.

What you will do:
• Prep, set, and strike audio visual equipment and keep inventory updated at all times
• Consistently keep track of inventory and ensure orders are completed in a timely fashion
• Operate AV equipment with full understanding of signal flow and equipment specifications
• Determine equipment shortages while preparing equipment order and offer substitutions
• Keep open lines of communication with management at all times
• Follow strict guidelines and a rigid schedule
• Represent INSPIRE in a professional manner and follow grooming and attire policies in place
• Continue our long-standing respectful relationship with clients and hotel staff
• Work in a fast paced, ever changing environment where input is always appreciated
• Protect company equipment as if it were your own and report any damages to respective persond
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
• Any other duties that are assigned

What your background should be:
• Experienced with audio visual technology
• Strong customer service and overall communication skills
• You can lift at least 50 pounds on your own
• You know what we mean when we say dress professionally
• Passing a background check and drug screen does not worry you
